South Sudan has been affected by serious flooding in the last few months. There has been a tremendous outpouring from friends and families of the Khor Wakow Project, and from donors who have responded with great willingness to the needs of others. With your support, the Khor Wakow Project has provided supplies to more than 85 heads of household in the last few weeks. Our work has just begun with housing needs for flood survivors now a pressing concern. It’s hard to imagine their anguish, happy to be alive, but faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their lives.
While much remains to be done, the Khor Wakow Project wants to take this opportunity to thank the entire Khor Wakow Project team, including friends, families, members of the business community, and individuals, who are offering time, resources and prayers. The Khor Wakow Project field staff are essential in delivering and distributing those efforts. These efforts have been in collaboration with the Khor Wakow Board of Directors working on common ground to serve the needs of others. Please explore our website to see all that has been done so far – and can be done in the future. |
